Our Vintage-Luxe Egyptian cotton bedding range is a special premier collection celebrating Italian weaving and traditional finishing. We weave the fabric in small quantities at our mill in Italy using the finest Egyptian Cotton yarns that are dyed with a special process to give the colors unique depth - yarn-dyed. This dying and weaving process gives the fabric incredible depth of color and texture.
When the fabric is woven, we then wash the fabric in old Italian hot baths and leave it to dry. This softens the fabric and creates a beautiful finish called a boutis finish - the fabric has an incredible depth and patina to it. Some call it boutis, some call washed, and we call it Vintage Luxe - Exclusive handmade Italian luxury bedding.
