“EL PESCADO” was created during the artist’s three-month stay on a Spanish island, offering a break from routine work and a chance to explore new ideas. The fish on the blanket are based on observations from a secluded bay on a sunny day, evolving from small sketches into a vibrant series. The ZigZagZurich cotton artist blankets and throws collection was inspired by our love of cotton weaving transforming original art that supports the artists directly with every product sold. Using jacquard looms with super fine cotton, we weave these in small quantities.
